Well our little girl is here! Madeline Rose arrived September 22 at 9:48 PM. She is 5 lb 14 oz and 18 inches long. She was 2 1/2 weeks early but we are so glad she made it. After she was born we learned that she most likely (98% sure) she has Downs Syndrome. It was a bit of a shock at first but we are doing much better today and looking forward to her unique spirit in our family. We know that she will be such a blessing to us and is already the most beautiful and calm little baby I have seen. She is currently in the NICU due to sugar levels and a mild infection. We hope that she will soon be out and coming home with us and will try and keep everything updated here on the blog. But for now here are a few of the pictures we have been snapping away.
